1.
Car Door 03:00
(Written by Cole Birmingham and Luke Allen) Keyed up the car door to my heart Though I admit that I have done my part These memories always seem to haunt me What we used to be Paved over the cracks within my mind New asphalt that made it worth the drive Make me feel like many out of one Then sell me at cost when you are done
2.
Deaf Ears 04:41
(Written by Cole Birmingham and Luke Allen) You told me That we ought to slow down That we shouldn't go down That way I told you The face with the grand view That I understand you And it was okay Absurd As if I am unheard Why do all these words Fall on deaf ears I explain But my efforts are in vain Why do all these words Fall on deaf ears They told you Things that are untrue As if they meant to Tear us apart It's useless To go after true bliss Cause I cannot help this We are who we are
3.
(Written By Cole Biirmingham and Luke Allen) I'm a much better person when I sleep at night Yet when the clock strikes 12 am My eyes are wide open I stare out the window at the street light Gaze upon it like a beacon of hope Like it's the catalyst to these spinning gears And I won't quit till the morning sun Relieves it of it's post And I have lost my host And am left in the dark Can't sleep I never was a people person Won't weep Cause I know that I could be much worse off I'm a much better person with bills to pay Work 40 hours to make a life worth living The pathetic process seems to stray From advice you believe is worth giving So I ask you please Just stop talking I beg you please I'm just longing For my world of dreams But everything it seems has fallen apart

How? 06:55

Finale 08:46
(Written By Cole Birmingham) Why would you blind me in the daze Of your light Just to leave me in the dark one day It'd be a shame to fade away But we might Just burn out with a spark And then the people all around can come and watch the flame So let me bask within the rays Of your light For we'll soon be in the dark one day While some resort to counting ways We'll delight In the night in which we part And then I'll close my eyes knowing goodbye won't be in vain

about

This EP consists of 6 original songs recorded over 6 hours at Luke's house. There was a lot of frustration and anxiety that fueled the determination for getting this project done. Everything seemed to be a battle, against deadlines and other commitments. But each one of us pulled through against all odds to create magic and immortalize our music, and we did have a lot of fun along the way. It should be preferably played on a cheap set of speakers at a high volume to get the right mood. We hope you have as much fun listening to this as we did recording it.
